Belmont Library's Kids Creation Club holds a special Halloween edition on Saturday, October 31, from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the library's large community room. Children drop in to make spooky Halloween crafts; the library says the session is ideal for ages 6 to 12 and lists it as a STEAM, crafts and arts program. No registration is required — it is first come, first served — and supplies are offered while they last, so families who want the full choice of projects should come early in the 90-minute window. It is a morning activity on Halloween day at the branch on SE Cesar Estrada Chavez Boulevard.
