Lakewood Theatre Company's long-running children's holiday show comes back with a new 45-minute episode on the Side Door Stage, in the lower level of the Lakewood Center for the Arts in Lake Oswego. This year the North Pole is hosting its annual elf convention, and the elves put on a play about holiday happiness: Gert plays an unhappy princess who sets off on a long journey with her toy bear, Peppermint Bear, meets two tricky trolls, Mort and Bert, and finally learns where happiness lies, with a nod to TV game shows along the way. Each morning show comes with a light continental breakfast (rolls, muffins, donuts, fruit, juice and coffee). Lakewood bills it as perfect for ages 3 to 103. Doors open 20 minutes before each show. Groups of 10 or more pay a reduced rate.
