Washington Square

Santa sets up near Din Tai Fung inside Washington Square mall from the first weekend of November through Christmas Eve. A visit with Santa is always free; families can buy a photo package, which comes with extras such as discounted prints and a digital greeting card. Reservations are recommended to skip the wait, and pre-booking includes a free personalized video message from Santa. Hours change through the season — weekday afternoons in early November, longer days on weekends and in the last two weeks before Christmas, closed on Thanksgiving, and 9 am to 6 pm on December 24 — with a one-hour break most days (3–4 pm). The mall also schedules special sessions, including a 'Santa Cares' visit on December 6 and evening Santa Pet Nights.
