The City of Beaverton's annual Winter Lights & Tree Lighting event fills Beaverton City Park on the evening of Friday, December 4. Winter markets run from 4 to 8 pm: the Beaverton Area Chamber of Commerce market and a Kids' Market run entirely by young entrepreneurs ages 5 to 17. Festive performances and activities run from 6 to 8 pm, and the tree lighting ceremony is at 7 pm. The city says details on activities and performances will be posted in November.
