Wilsonville's annual Community Tree Lighting brings families to Town Center Park on a Thursday evening in early December. Along with the lighting of the tree there is hot cocoa, choir performances and pictures with Santa. Kids can write to the North Pole at a 'Letters to Winter Wonderland' station, listen to a storytime led by the Wilsonville Public Library, and look around and take photos with a SMART Transit trolley. The event is free and outdoors, so dress warmly. Wilsonville Parks and Recreation takes questions about this and its other holiday programs at 503-783-7529.
