Teens learn about camouflage, natural selection and predator-prey dynamics using M&M's and Skittles at this bilingual Cornelius Public Library STEM program. Participants use lots of candy and a bit of coding to build models showing how prey survival changes over generations as predators pick the easiest-to-spot colors. The hour-long session is for ages 13 to 18 and is presented in English and Spanish.
