Tinker Camp, a nonprofit dedicated to STEAM education, turns Rockwood Library into an arcade. The story: an evil landlord is about to close the library, and kids save it by building an arcade and inviting neighbors to play to raise the rent. Each child designs and builds a one-of-a-kind cardboard arcade game from reclaimed materials, ping pong balls, marbles, glitter and more, then plays everyone else's games. Recommended for kids 8 and older with a parent or guardian. Drop in any time during the three-hour session; space is limited and first come, first served.
