The City of Tualatin's Light Parades are a three-night series of holiday light parades in which residents decorate their own cars and drive a 5- to 6-mile route through Tualatin neighborhoods, led by Tualatin Police, with Santa riding in the lead vehicle. In 2026 the North Parade runs Friday, December 4 (neighborhoods around Community Park and Jurgens Park), the South Parade Saturday, December 5 (around Ibach Park and Tualatin High School) and the East Parade Sunday, December 6 (around Atfalati Park, Fox Hills and Marquis). Each parade starts at 6 p.m. and takes about 60 to 90 minutes. Families can watch from along the route, which the city will publish with real-time progress updates, or register a decorated vehicle for any or all of the nights; vehicle registration is free but limited for each parade, and participants line up at 5:30 p.m. Riders must stay inside their vehicles, decorations must be family-friendly, and throwing candy or other objects is not allowed. Elves are welcome, but the city asks for no additional Santas.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Page states '2026 Dates: December 4, 5, and 6 ... All parades begin at 6pm'. Exact routes and the lineup parking lot are not yet published ('2026 Parade Routes Coming Soon'), so venue is the published neighborhood areas. Page gives both '1 1/2-2 hours' and '60-90 minutes' for duration. Read with curl from the parks.tualatinoregon.gov subdomain (the main city site's old Holly Days URL now returns Page not found).
