Penguins+Pajamas is the California Academy of Sciences' overnight program for children ages 4–17 and their adults. The Friday, October 16, 2026 sleepover carries a seasonal 'Fly into Fall' twist. Guests explore exhibits after hours, keep rainforest access until 8 p.m., watch private planetarium shows, have late-night milk and cookies and sleep in an exhibit area (under the starfish or near the penguins). A breakfast snack, overnight parking in the Music Concourse Garage and next-day museum admission are included. Check-in starts at 6 p.m. and the program ends at 8 a.m. the next morning. Every adult must sign an online waiver; children cannot attend alone and adults cannot attend without a child. Sleepovers sell out early. The other dates this season are a Girl Scout-only night on November 7 and public nights from January 15, 2027.
