Once a month Lindsay Wildlife Experience in Walnut Creek opens outside regular hours for children ages 2 to 5 and their adult caregivers. Each Tiny Tuesday has a theme: November 10 is Crunch N' Munch, about what different animals like to eat, and December 8 is Winter Wildlife, about what animals do in winter. The morning includes up-close experiences with animal ambassadors, a sing-along, a puppet show, crafts, games and storytime with the Contra Costa County Library. Tickets are sold in advance or at the door on a first-come basis, and children must be accompanied by an adult. The fee is charged per person, adult or child.
