- Edmonds Center for the Arts with Edmonds School District Native Education
Edmonds Center for the Arts and the Edmonds School District Native Education program invite students and their families to Coastal Tribal Jam, a community gathering that honors culture, learning and connection. The two-hour workshop introduces Pow Wow dance, teachings and movement in a welcoming, intergenerational setting, so parents, grandparents and children can take part together. Participants are also served complimentary traditional Indigenous catering. The event is free but requires registration in advance through Edmonds Center for the Arts. It suits school-age children and their families who are curious about Native dance traditions. No dance experience is needed.
