A free, self-guided luminary walk along the Snohomish River Trail in downtown Snohomish on Monday, December 21, 2026 from 4 to 7pm, celebrating the shortest day of the year. Walk the River Trail by candle glow of luminaries; come early for sunset, later to see the lanterns shine in darkness, or both. Start anywhere along the Riverfront Trail and follow the lights. Organized by the Historic Downtown Snohomish Association.
