Snoqualmie's holiday kickoff on the first Saturday of December. An outdoor Winter Market fills historic downtown Snoqualmie from noon to 6 pm with artisan gifts and festive treats, and the celebration at Railroad Park and the Centennial Log Pavilion runs 3 to 6 pm, building to Santa's arrival and the tree lighting at 5:30 pm. Both are free. The tree lighting opens the city's Winter Lights season, when light displays stay up around town from Thanksgiving through New Year's Day, so families can return for an evening stroll later in the month. The city publishes a parking map for the event.
