About this adventure
Spectrum Dance Theater's youth division provides dance and movement education for students aged 5 to 18, open to all youth regardless of physical aptitude. Fall Session classes began Tuesday, September 8 at the company's Madrona studio on Lake Washington Boulevard. Weekday afternoon and Saturday morning offerings include Pre-Ballet (ages 5-7) Tuesday and Friday 4:00-5:00 PM and Saturday 9:00-10:00 AM, Ballet I (ages 6-10) Tuesday and Friday 5:00-6:00 PM and Saturday 10:00-11:00 AM, Pre-Tap (ages 5-7) Wednesday 4:00-5:00 PM, Tap I (ages 6-10) Wednesday 5:00-6:00 PM, Mini Hip Hop (ages 6-9) Friday 4:00-5:00 PM, Pre-Jazz (ages 6-10) Saturday 9:00-10:00 AM and Jazz I (ages 8-13) Saturday 10:00-11:00 AM, plus Ballet II-VI, Contemporary, Hip-Hop Street Styles, pointe and acting classes for older students. Tuition is $12.50-$21.00 per class with a one-time $20 registration fee; family and multi-class discounts and scholarships are offered.
