For its 30th season the Lights of Christmas, held on the campus of Warm Beach Camp & Conference Center near Stanwood, becomes mainly a walking event among more than a million lights and Christmas displays. Families can ride the Candy Cane Express train through areas only reachable by rail, take a photo with Santa in front of the new Present Tower, buy an interactive Snowflake Wand that makes displays respond, and browse the Toy Shop's wooden craft kits. There is a Food Village with local vendors and the Donut Hut, plus a Candy Parlour on Gingerbread Lane. Tickets must be bought online in advance for a timed entry hour. On three Thursdays (Dec 3, 10 and 17) a drive-thru version with no activity stops is offered instead.
