Around Veterans Day, Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium admits U.S. military veterans and active-duty service members free, and their immediate family members get half-off general admission. That makes it a good week for military families to visit the zoo with the kids. The offer is valid only at the zoo's admission window, not for online purchases. The offer runs daily from November 11 through 15, during zoo hours of 9 am to 3:30 pm.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Read via Cloudflare Browser Run (parkstacoma.gov shows a Cloudflare challenge to curl); dates and times cross-checked against the site's own Events Calendar JSON feed (/wp-json/tribe/events/v1/events), which prints America/Los_Angeles times. The zoo's street address is not printed on this page; 5400 N Pearl St is Point Defiance Park's address as printed on parkstacoma.gov's Family Nature Walk page (the zoo is inside the park). Northwest Trek runs a similar Veterans' Appreciation Days offer Nov 11-15.
