Upper Marlboro Community Center runs a free, hands-on mad scientist program on Friday, November 20, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Participants rotate through experiment stations — mixing potions, making things fizz and exploring chemistry, physics and more. It is listed for all ages and suits curious elementary-age children with a grown-up. The program is free; registration is through PG Parks using the 'Register Here' link on the event page.
