Located near Big Bear Lake Village, Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain pairs winter snow tubing with Southern California's only authentic bobsled coaster. The dedicated winter snow play hill features full snowmaking coverage and a covered Magic Carpet moving sidewalk that carries tubers effortlessly to the top of groomed downhill runs. Families can also ride the year-round Mineshaft Coaster—a mountain gravity coaster with rider-controlled handbrakes spanning over a mile of elevated track through scenic alpine pines. The base recreation lodge includes a family arcade, snack counter serving warm churros and hot chocolate, and level paved pathways connecting parking to ticket windows.
