About this adventure

Rising 1,337 feet above Downtown Riverside, Mount Rubidoux Park is an iconic 161-acre landmark offering one of the finest family walking routes in Southern California. The 3.2-mile paved loop trail winds gradually along vehicle-free roadways lined with massive granite boulders, fragrant wild sage, and pepper trees up to the historic Peace Tower and cross. The entire paved roadway is 100% stroller-friendly, scooter-friendly, and dog-friendly on leash, with steady, gentle gradients that allow toddlers and preschoolers to walk comfortably at their own pace. At the summit, walkers enjoy 360-degree panoramic vistas encompassing the snow-capped San Bernardino and San Gabriel mountain ranges across the Inland Empire valley.
