Cine Familiar is the Mexican American Cultural Center's family film night, part of its Casa de la Cultura programming. Families and neighbors gather at the MACC on Lady Bird Lake to watch a film chosen to celebrate culture, family and identity, and screenings may include activities and time to talk about the story together afterward. It runs from 6 to 8 p.m. on a Friday, a relaxed way to start the weekend with kids. The listing does not name the film or state a fee; call the MACC at 512-974-3772 for the title and any age guidance.
