The Wildflower Center celebrates its founder, Lady Bird Johnson, and her love of the natural world with a morning of family activities from 9 am to 1 pm. Kids can help spread native seedballs in the savanna meadow (limited quantities, handed out in the morning), families can join a guided birding walk at 9 or 11 am to look for local and migrating birds, and food trucks La Fonda, La Chata and Texas Drip BBQ serve lunch. The birding walks are free with admission but space is limited and advance registration is required. All Lady Bird Day activities are included with general garden admission.
