The Rodolfo 'Rudy' Mendez Recreation Center's Halloween night at Metz Park combines a free trunk-or-treat with table games, vendors and door prizes from 6 p.m., a haunted house through the Mendez building and a concession stand from 6:30 p.m., and a costume contest at 7:30 p.m. with prizes for first to third place in four age groups: 0–3, 4–6, 7–9 and 10–12. The trunk-or-treat is free for everyone, but table games, concessions and the haunted house require tickets bought in person with cash only, starting at 5:30 p.m. Bring small bills.
