A come-and-go discovery table run by Lost Pines Master Naturalist volunteers. The October theme looks past bees and butterflies to the 'creepy' pollinators — bats, beetles, wasps, moths, ants and flies — and introduces the Texas Parks and Wildlife Pollinator BioBlitz, a citizen-science count families can join. Junior Rangers can stop by to complete the 'Take a Closer Look' page in their Jr. Ranger Journal; free journals are available at park headquarters. Drop in any time between 10 am and 1 pm at the picnic table under the trees between the playground and the pool. Good for curious kids of any age who like hands-on nature tables.
