A haunted half-mile trail through the woods after dark, staged by Lockhart High School's Drama Club with Lockhart State Park. The trail is 'crawling with the undead, monsters, and more'; because of graphic content the park recommends it for ages 10 and up, so it suits older kids and teens who like a real scare. Tickets are $10 per person and are sold for start times every five minutes between 7:30 and 9:30 pm, with two to five people per group; children under 15 must be with an adult. Meet at the Park Recreation Hall 15 minutes before your start time — you do not need to check in at headquarters. One flashlight per group is allowed (it may be covered in red cellophane). Leave phones and dogs at home; the booster club sells baked goods by donation.
