An evening nature walk in Kennedy Heights Park led by the Pleasant Ridge Branch Library with the Kennedy Heights Community Council. After sunset, families look at how animals, insects and plants are adapted to life in the dark. The library provides flashlights and UV lights, and participants may bring their own flashlights too. The program is entirely outdoors from 6:30 to 8 pm, so dress for November weather and sturdy footing. Registration is required. Park in the lot on Kennedy Road. Good for curious school-age children and their adults who want a guided night walk close to home.
