An early-evening walk under a dark, moonless sky at Woodland Mound on Old Kellogg Road. Participants take a casual stroll over paved paths from the Seasongood Nature Center, stopping to stargaze and to look and listen for nocturnal wildlife along the way. Because the route is paved and the program lasts one hour (5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9), it works for families with school-age children and for strollers. Great Parks lists it for all ages; dress warmly for a December evening. No fee is printed on the calendar card.
