A hands-on early-learning session in Lone Tree Arts Center's Seedlings series, led by Dinosaur Ridge educators. Young explorers act as scientists, using eyes and hands to investigate real fossils and fossil replicas, noticing shapes, textures and patterns and learning how fossils reveal what dinosaurs looked like and how they lived. The program ends with a mess-free 'dinosaur poop' making activity. Children take part with their parents. Two sessions on Tuesday, November 17, at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.; book tickets through the LTAC box office.
