The Kansas City Jazz Orchestra presents A Charlie Brown Christmas in Helzberg Hall at the Kauffman Center, a holiday tradition the orchestra pitches at the whole family. The concert mixes nostalgia with jazz improvisation and features the award-winning KCKCC Standard Vocal Jazz Ensemble. The public performance is Tuesday, December 8 at 7 p.m.; this year there is also a shortened student matinee. Tickets are sold through the Kauffman Center ticket office, which opens two hours before showtime.
