The Kansas City Symphony's annual Christmas Festival brings the orchestra, the Symphony Chorus and special guests together at Helzberg Hall for a festive concert of holiday music — and a visit from Santa. It is a classic December outing for families with school-age children who can sit through a full evening or matinee concert. Performances run Thursday, December 17 at 7 p.m.; Friday, December 18 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, December 19 at 1 and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, December 20 at 2 and 7 p.m. The weekend matinees are the easiest fit for younger children. Tickets are sold through the Symphony's box office.
