Little Explorer's Club sessions at the Museum at Prairiefire are 45-minute STEAM classes for ages 3 to 5 led by museum science educators, with a story, an activity or experiment, an artifact or animal encounter and a craft. This session explores our Solar System - eight planets and one star - asking what a star is and why the planets are different colors, and each little astronomer builds a planet of their own. Classes start at 10:15 a.m.; spots are limited, so register in advance on the museum's website. The fee is $5 (free for members using their discount code), and cancellations need 24 hours' notice by email. Parents may stay in class or wait just outside, and siblings can explore the Discovery Room meanwhile.
