Summerlin Library's after-school program for kindergarten through fifth grade introduces children to snakes: how they move, what they eat and why they matter. After learning about these slithery animals, each child decorates a wooden snake to take home. The program runs for an hour and is only for children in grades K–5; siblings can use the library outside the program room. Registration is required, opens two weeks ahead (October 14) and is per child, online or by calling 702.507.3865.
