A one-hour hands-on engineering lab for children in grades 1–5. Kids build take-home projects such as simple electrical circuits and marble roller coasters while learning how they work. The session is part of the library's Girls in STEM initiative, which aims to close the gender gap in engineering, but it is open to all children. Saturday 2:00–3:00 p.m. in the KidSpace Homework Center on the children's floor. Free.
