Older homeschool students ages 9–12 study food webs at Oakland Nature Preserve in November, tracing the links from producers to consumers and learning why each organism matters to the whole ecosystem along Lake Apopka. The two-hour lesson runs twice: Monday, November 16 (10 a.m.–noon), which was full with a waitlist on October 20, and Thursday, November 19 (2–4 p.m.), which had 9 spaces. Sign up for only one session. Registration is required through the preserve's site.
