On Monday, November 30, 2026, from 10 to 10:30 a.m., Oakland Nature Preserve hosts Story Time in the classroom at its Ginn Museum. Each session follows a nature theme, combining a story with an activity or animal interaction, and families are welcome to stay afterward to walk the preserve's trails and boardwalk. Activities are aimed at ages 2–4, but all ages are welcome; a parent or caregiver attends with the child. Registration is requested through the preserve's website.
