Hagley Museum and Library

Hagley Museum and Library turns the paths of its historic powder yard along the Brandywine into a trick-or-treat trail for one Saturday before Halloween. Children are invited to come in costume and collect treats at stations set up throughout the grounds while candy supplies last, which makes it a relaxed, daytime alternative to neighborhood trick-or-treating. The trail runs from 11 am to 3 pm; families start at the Visitor Center and should use Hagley's main entrance off Route 141 in Wilmington. The same day Hagley also runs its Science Saturday program, so families can combine the two. Hagley's event page does not list a separate price for the trick-or-treat trail.
