The Chesapeake City Lions Club presents the town's annual Christmas tree lighting in Pell Gardens Park on Sunday, November 29 at 5 pm. Santa uses his Christmas magic to light up the tree and the lights throughout town, there is a musical presentation, and children can stay to say hello to Santa afterward. The Cecil County calendar entry does not give an end time, a street address or any cost. On Saturday, December 12 the town follows up with its Christmas Parade of Horses & Market downtown.
