About this adventure

Lansdale Borough lights its holiday tree at Railroad Plaza on West Main Street on Friday, December 4, from 6 to 8 pm, an evening the borough's Parks & Recreation calendar sums up as twinkling lights, festive fun and community spirit. It opens a weekend of borough holiday events at the same plaza: a community Menorah Lighting for Hanukkah on Saturday evening, and on Sunday afternoon the first of Santa's three visits to his Lansdale house alongside a TubaChristmas concert. The calendar entry is brief and does not list a program, a fee or whether Santa appears at the lighting itself, so check the borough's calendar again closer to the date. The two-hour evening window makes it an easy outing for families with young children who want to see the lights come on and still get home for bedtime.
