About this adventure

Lansdale's community Menorah Lighting fills Railroad Plaza on Saturday, December 5, from 6 to 8 pm with what the borough calendar calls an evening of celebration, community and the glow of Hanukkah. The celebration is for all ages and includes a performance by the Horns of Hanukkah, doughnuts and hot chocolate, crafts and more. It is organized by community members led by Alan Gold, with support from Lansdale Borough, and people who want to help can email the organizers. The lighting falls between the borough's Friday tree lighting and Sunday's Santa visit and TubaChristmas concert at the same plaza, so families can make a weekend of Main Street holiday events. The calendar does not mention tickets or a fee, so families can simply come for the evening of music, treats and crafts.
