About this adventure
On the second evening of Hanukkah week, Franklin Square hosts a free family Hanukkah celebration as part of Holidays in Franklin Square. The evening brings Hanukkah songs, crafts and activities for children in the lit-up square, and it fits naturally with a walk through the free Electrical Spectacle Light Show, which plays every 30 minutes from 5 pm. It runs two hours, so families with young children can drop in for part of it. The square is in Old City at 6th and Race Streets, a short walk from Independence Mall and the 5th Street/Independence Hall subway station.
