Celebrating Ujamaa: Kwanzaa Quizzo and Evening Bazaar at Franklin Square

About this adventure

On December 29, the fourth day of Kwanzaa, which honors Ujamaa (cooperative economics), the African American Museum in Philadelphia hosts a Kwanzaa evening bazaar and quizzo in Franklin Square as part of Winter in Franklin Square. Families can browse the bazaar, test their Kwanzaa knowledge at quizzo, and walk through the square's holiday light show, which plays every half hour in the evening. It runs from 5 to 8 pm, and school-age children and teens are the right age for the quiz. The organizers' page does not list a fee for the bazaar.
