About this adventure
Historic Philadelphia's family New Year's Eve in Franklin Square is timed for children who won't make it to midnight. From 5 to 8 pm there are crafts, and at 6 pm the square holds its own Square Drop countdown; families can also watch the Delaware River Waterfront's New Year's Eve fireworks from the square. Between the countdown and the fireworks, the Electrical Spectacle Light Show keeps playing, and the carousel and SquareBurger are open nearby. The square closes early at 8 pm that night. The page does not list an entry fee.
