- Scoogie Events and Lower Gwynedd Township
Scoogie Events, with Lower Gwynedd Township, hosts a New Year's Eve Glow Run at Gwynedd Mercy University's stadium on Thursday, December 31. Arrival is between 4:30 and 5:45 pm; at 6 pm an actual ball drop starts the quarter-mile Kid's Ball Drop Dash, followed by the 5K at 6:10 and a 2-mile jog/walk at about 6:13, each started by another ball drop. None of the distances are timed. Finishers circle the stadium track, cross a glowing finish arch and get glow-in-the-dark medals; kids get a free root beer, and there is a best-dressed costume contest, so glow gear and wacky outfits are encouraged. Families can stay for music and food or be home by about 7:30. The kids' dash is $15.99 until November 1 and rises in steps to $20.99; the 5K is $38.99 and the 2-mile walk $36.99. Donations benefit Gwynedd Mercy University.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Read via RunSignup's public race API (races within 30 miles of 19103, 2026-11-27 to 2027-01-18, with events and registration periods), which carries the organizer's race page text; fees are the period current on 2026-10-20 and exclude processing fees. Date line says Thursday, December 31, 2026, but the text still calls it a 'brand new, first year event' and promises a 'GLOWING start to 2026', which looks carried over from last year. Address from the description (RunSignup header lists Spring House 19477).
