December's Sound All Around program puts the French horn center stage. Orchestra horn player Victoria Knudtson and host Carol Jantsch show toddlers how the shiny, curled brass horn with its big bell can sound heroic, mysterious or magical and helps connect the sections of the orchestra. Sound All Around is The Philadelphia Orchestra's storytelling introduction to music for the youngest listeners, with activities for families, preschools and early elementary groups. Performances run December 12–14, 2026 in Commonwealth Plaza at the Kimmel Center.
