About this adventure
The Rock School for Dance takes its family-length Enchanted Nutcracker to Goodhart Hall on the Bryn Mawr College campus for four Main Line performances. The two-act ballet runs about 90 minutes, keeps the familiar story of Clara, the Nutcracker Prince, the snowfall and the dancing flowers, and adds light narration and a new animated backdrop so younger children can follow along. The Rock School presents it as an inclusive, sensory-friendly show for all ages, a good first ballet for preschool and early elementary children as well as dance students. Shows are Saturday December 12 and Sunday December 13 at 11:30 am and 4 pm, with doors opening 30 minutes before. Seating is reserved and tickets start at $10 through the school's Dance Ticketing page; the code GROUP20 gives 20% off tickets above $10.
