About this adventure
Brandywine Ballet's annual Nutcracker Tea Party is a morning for young ballet fans ahead of the company's December Nutcracker. Children meet and take photos with dancers from the production, learn a few steps from the ballet, make holiday crafts and listen to a reading of The Nutcracker story, while families enjoy traditional tea sandwiches and desserts with tea or punch. It runs about an hour and 45 minutes in the Chester County History Center in downtown West Chester, and suits preschool and elementary-age children, especially those who will see the ballet later in the season. Tickets are $35 and are sold ahead through the ballet's box office.
