Historic Mount Harmon Plantation, overlooking the Sassafras River in Earleville, holds its Yuletide Festival and Holiday Marketplace on Saturday and Sunday, December 5 and 6, from 11 am to 3 pm. The festival combines a greens and decorations sale with handmade wreaths, tours of the decorated manor house, an artisan marketplace in the Carriage House Visitor Center, hearth cooking demonstrations and wassail in the colonial kitchen, colonial reenactors and a live tree and plant sale, plus a festival food court and open-air tavern. Tickets start at $10 per person, $5 for members, and are sold online through the plantation's website.
