Washington Crossing Historic Park's Nature for Toddlers series introduces preschoolers to wildlife and the outdoors, with a different topic each session, and October's topic is bats. The session on Friday, October 30 runs from 10 to 11:30 am with the park naturalist and is designed for children ages 3 to 6, building on their curiosity about animals and the world around them. Halloween costumes are welcome, which makes it an easy pre-Halloween outing. Families meet at the General Greene Pavilion. The program is free; the DCNR listing includes a registration link.
