An early-winter family program at Briar Bush Nature Center. It starts with a story and a live animal encounter about how the forest changes as autumn turns to winter, then heads out on the trails to look for the last signs of fall, such as lingering leaves and seed pods, and the first signs of winter, such as bare branches and animal tracks. It takes place indoors (accessible first floor of the museum and/or Bird Observatory) and outdoors, rain or shine. Registration is required for everyone 2 and up; under-2s are free, and children must come with a registered adult. Registration closes at noon on December 11.
