On Wednesdays through December and into January, Ashland Nature Center in Hockessin invites children to bring a packed lunch and spend the noon hour with the center's animals. Delaware Nature Society staff feed the resident animals while children watch, there is a story, and everyone eats lunch together with friends. Each session runs from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. The program is free, with registration through the society's ticketing page, and it is listed in the society's Children category.
