About this adventure
Philly Skate Plex's Halloween evening skate runs from 4 to 7 pm on October 31, timed so families can skate before or between trick-or-treat rounds. Skaters come in costume, meet the rink's Halloween characters, compete in a costume contest and visit candy stations, with tattoos, face painting and coloring for kids who need a break from the floor. The rink is offering buy-one-get-one-free admission at $14, and skate rental is $6. It suits school-age children who can already skate a little or who are happy to hold the wall, as well as tweens and teens coming with friends.
